Nigeria were forced to move their training session on Friday night from the Khartoum International Stadium to the FIFA Technical centre after heavy rains left the match venue waterlogged.

The squad arrived at the grounds just before 8PM for their mandatory feel of the pitch, but could only stand and stare at two huge puddles of water on both sides of the artificial turf.

Unable to do anything, the session was loved to the alternative venue and the team finally held a light work out which started an hour behind schedule.

Nigeria officials have contacted CAF about the situation but their Sudanese hosts have given assurances that the water would be drained on time for the game to go ahead at the same venue.

Kickoff is at 8PM local time (6PM Nigeria time)
