Argentina, Bosnia, Iran afraid of Eagles – Kanu

Former Super Eagles captain, Nwakwo Kanu, has told Super Eagles players not to disappoint its forthcoming World Cup Group F opponents-Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran-by failing to qualify for the second round of the tournament.
This he said was because these teams are afraid of the Super Eagles.
Kanu, who spoke on Monday in Lagos at the Globacom unveiling of ‘Go Ahead Eagles Campaign’ expressed the confidence that Super Eagles would pick one of the group’s second round ticket.
“All these teams are afraid of us. We don’t have to disappoint them,” he said.
He said he was sure that Eagles will take the three points off Iran in its opening match, saying after that the team will just be flying.
“I am jealous of the team. When I was playing I prayed to have this type of group.
“We will beat Iran and take the three points off them. Once that is done the team will just be flying ,” he said.
He pleaded with Nigerians to respect Stephen Keshi’s 30-man provisional list on the premise that since the list was his (Keshi) wish, then “Nigerians must respect that.”
