NFF Secretariat on fire on Wednesday

NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu says none of the federation's financial records were destroyed in Wednesday's fire incident.
Amadu confirmed that the early morning fire started from an electrical fault in his office, and affected adjoining offices on the third floor which were all razed, but he told ColinUdoh.com that all key records were intact
"The financial and accounts records are never kept in my office. They are in the Accounts office and none of those were touched.
"All our records are intact and available for scrutiny by the relevant authorities. And the Under 17 World Cup trophy is also safe and untouched.
"However, we did lose some of our archival materials, and CDs and some technical reports but we can get all of those back from FIFA."
Also razed in the fire was the ICT department, which is also next to the General Secretary's office, but Amadu says there are back ups of the digital files
"They have an external backup of all soft copies of our files so even though that office was entirely destroyed, we did not lose our documents."
He said the priority of the federation was to ensure that the Programmes were nit affected
"We have the Falconets who have just reached the World Cup finals, we have the Under 17 and Under 20 boys and we have the Nations Cup qualifiers coming up.
"We want to make sure that nine of those activities is affected  and we can continue with our Programmes."
