NFF President Amaju Pinnick addresses Super Eagles players

Michael Babatunde has been ruled out of the first leg of Nigeria's 2015 African Nations Cup qualifier against Sudan.

But there were 23 other reasons for coach Stephen Keshi to celebrate as a full house of invited players turned up for the second day of training.

Babatunde suffered the injury while playing for his club, but Keshi is confident there is enough cover for the midfielder

“We have good cover for him and we pray that he bounces back before the return leg against Sudan in Nigeria,” said Keshi.

“I really want to play this game against Sudan but fate says I will not but by the return leg in Nigeria I should be back. The doctors have assured me that I will be fit between four and five days time.”

A total of 17 players featured in Tuesday morning's training session, but that turned to a full deck by the afternoon session, with NFF President Amaju Pinnick dropping by to address the team.
