Bouna Coundoul is now a free agent
Senegal goalkeeper Bouna Coundol is now a free agent after terminating his contract with Cypriot club Ethnikos Achnas.
Coundoul's representative Justin Stone told ColinUdoh.com that the termination notice, sent to the club on Friday afternoon, stemmed from 'a non-payment clause in his contract'.
This means Coundoul, who is expected to keep his place in goal for Senegal's when they take on South Africa in their second group game of the 2015 African Nations Cup, is now a free agent.
The goalkeeper has previously played in the MLS for Colorado Rapids and the New York Red Bulls and holds US citizenship.
