NFF executive Committee member Emeka Inyama says returning president Aminu Maigari must ensure reconciliation after he was restored to office by FIFA.

Maigari was impeached by the executive committee last month as fresh crisis erupted in Nigerian football.

But on Thursday, FIFA wrote to the NFF directing that the Executive Committee be restored to it's pre World Cup status, and Inyama now says Maigari must be magnanimous

"The highest body in world football says we should resort to status quo. And that is what we are going to do," Inyama told ColinUdoh.com on Friday.

"Maigari must see this a case of no victor no vanquished," he added. "He should find a way to bring all the parties together and carry everybody along in the interest of Nigerian football and to bring peace."

This is a welcome idea. I wish the proposed election be postponed for about 2 weeks in order to give those disenfranchised opportunity to contest. Segun Odegbami's disqualification should be reviewed with immediate effect, that is the type of Mr. football we want at the helms of affairs.
